Medicina (D. Dallacasa at Mon Sep 15 06:14:41 METDST 1997) Minor failures

First 15 minutes lost due to pointing problems. The antenna was not pointing to the commanded position. Occasional RFI in VC01 and VC02. No other significant failures known. Experiment ended at 258 03:32:00 as from schedule (sources were going below elevation limit).

Onsala (A. Polatidis at Mon Sep 15 10:12:19 METDST 1997) Failure

Due to high winds >17m/s this experiment was not observed. Dummy log posted

Westerbork (Tony Foley at Tue Sep 16 11:44:03 METDST 1997) Failure

Not observed. There was a misunderstanding by the operator as Westerbork was not in the final version of the EVN block schedule. A dummy log has been sent to Bologna.

Effelsberg (dgraham at Tue Sep 16 14:29:20 METDST 1997) Success

Torun (K. Borkowski at Tue Sep 16 21:48:18 METDST 1997) Success

Jodrell (Alastair Gunn at Wed Sep 17 10:56:23 METDST 1997) Failure

Terminal was incorrectly set at Mk III mode. All data lost.

Noto (C.Trigilio at Mon Sep 22 16:41:34 METDST 1997) Minor failures

Some problem at the formatter. Reset during second scan (lost). For an error during the formatter reset, during all the observation the formatter time was LATE of ONE second. Should be recoverable during correlation (hope!)

Calibration (Fredrik T Rantakyro at Wed Nov 5 15:45:15 MET 1997) Minor failures

The ANTAB formatted TSYS information can be found on VLBEER in the SEP97 directory. The file is called v047r.antab and contains the latest antenna calibration information.
