Experiment Feedback

Medicina (C. Bortolotti at Sat Sep 13 18:49:48 METDST 1997) Minor failures
Started the experiment at 256 14 44 for patch panel problems. In some case antenna off line for ACU problems (also for high wind ?)

Jodrell (Alastair Gunn at Sun Sep 14 13:55:28 METDST 1997) Failure
Failure of antenna interface card led to lack of communication with telescope. No data obtained.

Onsala (John Conway at Sun Sep 14 13:59:09 METDST 1997) Failure
Did not observe due to high winds (aprox 15m/s). May try to run the schedule another day in a suitable gap.

Effelsberg (dgraham at Mon Sep 15 10:58:25 METDST 1997) Failure
3C273 is 50Jy on top of 20Jy system, this causes overload. Operator tried to adjust IFD attenuation in each scan. Result is useless.

Onsala (John Conway at Tue Sep 16 01:08:09 METDST 1997) Minor failures
Sorry about this. From the scheduler I had understood that Bonn would unlikely to be taking part, and the special problems there were not foremost in my mind unfortunately. About half of this 6cm cal were on 3C295 so if Bonn observed there this data should be non-useless.

Westerbork (Tony Foley at Tue Sep 16 11:33:18 METDST 1997) Minor failures
Data looks plausible but the noise source is always off. The noise source cannot be fired by the field system.

Torun (K.Borkowski at Tue Sep 16 21:45:46 METDST 1997) Minor failures
Due to too short slew times in the schedule the antenna was sometimes moving while measuring Tsys. Also 3c295 was too close to the zenith for proper tracking (z about 1 deg). Severe interference observed.

Noto (C.Trigilio at Mon Sep 22 16:35:26 METDST 1997) Success
No problems. In addition to this observation, single dish on several cal sources performed during the holes of the schedule

\(Other\) (3C295 at Thu Feb 20 22:28:46 CET 2003) Minor failures

MPIfR_Bonn ( at Sun Mar 16 19:04:37 CET 2003) Success
