Experiment Feedback
Medicina (Andrea Maccaferri at Thu Nov 18 19:30:53 MET 1999) Minor failures
partially lost scan from 6:38 to 6:52 and
lost scan from 07:07 to 07:16 for pointing system failure.
3c84 scan from 10:30 to 10:38 outside telescope elevation limits
the same from scan starting at 17:06 to 17:53
and from 18:01 to the end of schedule.
Onsala (A. Polatidis at Fri Nov 19 00:13:16 MET 1999) Success
Effelsberg (A. Kraus at Fri Nov 19 09:20:28 MET 1999) Minor failures
Snowfall stopped the observations from UT0915-1020. A few scans
had to be skipped because the sources had been at low elevation.
Torun (K.Borkowski at Fri Nov 19 09:35:03 MET 1999) Success
After 10:30 there were a few (3) long slews in the azimuth
and the sources could not be reached in time (one lost altogether).
The observations stopped after the first tape finished (17:28)
because the remaining part had sources too near to the horizon.
Westerbork (Tony Foley at Mon Nov 22 08:58:48 MET 1999) Minor failures
The start of the experiment (06:30 to 07:10) lost as the real
time clock on the control computer stopped! After rebooting it
startes up again.
Scans at the end were outside our Hour Angle range, so we
replaced them with 3C345 (the last fringe finder) from 16:06 to 18:01.
Most of the time 13 telescopes in the array.
Noto (C.Trigilio at Thu Nov 25 16:03:22 MET 1999) Minor failures
The snap file was edited before the observations (according with the PI) to avoid the period when the sources were down.
Only one tape recorded. Last scan (17:53-18:01 on 3C345) recorded in pass 14 of tape 1.
WARNING: the frequency is outside our band: signal low. Strong interferences during most of the observations (due to a radar).
Calibration (Jean\-Francois Desmurs at Wed Dec 15 13:11:50 MET 1999) Success
