We have tried a new receiver with the LHC polarisation only. An ad hoc cooling system worked during the first 4 experiments but failed later. During the 5cm session we were forced to sacrifice portions of these observations in favour of tests with an LF transmitter that simulated the planned powerful (1 MW) nearby station (of the Polish Radio).

We observed linear polarisation (as intended) and fed this to both IF1 and IF2, because the dish is only about 20% efficient at this frequency we expect a Tsys(jY) in the range 1700 - 2000Jy. We had our new narrow band spectromter working during the VLBI and took single dish spectra of many of the lines, nice to see that one is observing something while doing VLBI.
