Experiment Feedback

(Other) (Kunming(km) at Wed Jun 17 16:31:44 2009) Minor failures : ANT
UT 14:21-14:28 the antenna can not track the source because the azimuth drive doesn't work

Urumqi (Wenjun Yang at Wed Jun 17 16:32:17 2009) Success : HIGH
It is a little rain.

Medicina (A. Maccaferri at Wed Jun 17 16:46:29 2009) Success :
A little rain in the afternoon for about 3 hours

Onsala (Michael Lindqvist at Wed Jun 17 19:54:55 2009) Success :
No known problems.

Shanghai (Bo Xia at Wed Jun 17 20:56:37 2009) Success :

Effelsberg (Uwe Bach at Thu Jun 18 10:16:12 2009) Success :

Westerbork (Geert Kuper at Thu Jun 18 14:58:35 2009) Success :
Wb used in phased array mode. No RTB,C,D. There was some confusion during the FTP fringesearch because the TADU setup did not exactly match the vex file.See Marks Kettenis's email on this subject. Turns out there are fringes in all the X-band subbands for westerbork. The reason they didn't show up in the FTP fringe test is that the TADU setup didn't exactly match the setup in the VEX file. The VEX file had X band on the odd BBC's and S-band on the even BBC's: def DualFreq8x8MHz; * mode = 1 stations =Ef:Wb:On:Mc:Ur sample_rate = 16.000 Ms/sec; * (2bits/sample) chan_def = : 2248.99 MHz : U : 8.000 MHz : &CH01 : &BBC02 : &U_Cal; *Rcp chan_def = : 2264.99 MHz : U : 8.000 MHz : &CH02 : &BBC04 : &U_Cal; *Rcp chan_def = : 2280.99 MHz : U : 8.000 MHz : &CH03 : &BBC06 : &U_Cal; *Rcp chan_def = : 2296.99 MHz : U : 8.000 MHz : &CH04 : &BBC08 : &U_Cal; *Rcp chan_def = : 8360.99 MHz : U : 8.000 MHz : &CH05 : &BBC01 : &U_Cal; *Rcp chan_def = : 8376.99 MHz : U : 8.000 MHz : &CH06 : &BBC03 : &U_Cal; *Rcp chan_def = : 8392.99 MHz : U : 8.000 MHz : &CH07 : &BBC05 : &U_Cal; *Rcp chan_def = : 8408.99 MHz : U : 8.000 MHz : &CH08 : &BBC07 : &U_Cal; *Rcp enddef; However, the TADU setup made by Geert had X-band on the first four BBC's (and "S-band" on the second four), i.e. the same setup as used by Yebes: def DualFreq8x8MHz#02; * mode = 1 stations =Ys sample_rate = 16.000 Ms/sec; * (2bits/sample) chan_def = : 2248.99 MHz : U : 8.000 MHz : &CH01 : &BBC05 : &U_Cal; *Rcp chan_d

Noto (P. Cassaro at Thu Jun 25 16:16:16 2009) Success :

Yebes (Paco Colomer at Thu Jul 2 09:46:39 2009) Failure :
H-maser failure.
