Experiment Feedback

Medicina (D.Dallacasa at Mon Feb 14 07:54:53 MET 2000) Minor failures
Frequencies for VC3 and VC4 were outside the IF band. VC 1 and VC2 ok. Nothing else to report

Torun (K.Borkowski at Mon Feb 14 09:24:37 MET 2000) Success
Toward the end the sources were too low for observations. Thus since 5:56 UT the recording continued with the antenna pointed off source.

Onsala (A. Polatidis at Mon Feb 14 10:11:27 MET 2000) Minor failures
Unfortunately due to stroing winds we only observed around 3.5 hours. Data were taken at 20:20-2136 UT and 0355:06:30 UT. Frequencies in VC3, VC4 chenged to 100.69 for setup vc024.

Westerbork (Tony Foley at Mon Feb 14 10:54:50 MET 2000) Minor failures
Used all 14 telescopes in tied array. Some very strong EMI around 03:30UT and weaker EMI at some other times. First scans (18:30-18:40) some telescopes shadowing others. Scans after 06:20 UT out of hour angle limits, so not observed.

Westerbork (Tony Foley at Mon Feb 14 11:10:02 MET 2000) Minor failures
Addendum: Also extremely strong EMI around 02:03 UT leading to overflows on all total power readouts.

Effelsberg (A. Kraus at Tue Feb 15 08:51:45 MET 2000) Minor failures
Strong RFI was present in this band. The last two scans had been below the elevation limit.

Jodrell (Alastair Gunn at Wed Feb 16 05:47:47 MET 2000) Minor failures
LOs set incorrectly for first 15 minutes of schedule. Set properly at 18:42 UT. No other known problems.

Noto (C.Trigilio at Thu Feb 17 12:50:07 MET 2000) Minor failures
Possible drift of formatter time from 20 to 24 UT.

Calibration (Alastair Gunn at Wed Apr 19 13:00:23 METDST 2000) Success
Calibration data available from vlbeer: see file feb00/ek010b.antab for details
